Majesty 2 Announced!. Paradox Interactive has announced that Majesty 2 is in development and will be released in Q1 2009. On another note, I have not had the time to maintain an active website, so this site will unfortunately not be able to keep up with the news.

Paradox Acquires Majesty Franchise. In possibly the first bit of Majesty news in a long time, Swedish developer Paradox Interactive has purchased the intellectual property, announced on July 3. Quoting the press release from IGN:
"We strongly feel that Majesty deserves to be revitalized and there are few gaming companies out there capable of taking this franchise to the next level", said Lester Humphreys, Founder of Cyberlore Studios. "There is no question in our minds that Paradox Interactive is the right company to do just that."
With the purchase of Majesty, it is possible that we'll be seeing a revitalization in the series which came to a halt when Majesty Legends was scrapped in 2003.

Site Opens. After a series of long delays, Majesty Palace finally opens. At the current state, I don't really feel satisfied in terms of both design and content. However, due to the general lack of time, it is difficult to foresee when this site will actually be fully completed. In the meantime, feel free to browse around.
