Characters List
The following is a list of canonical characters in the Majesty World.
Alphabetical List of Characters
AgrelaGoddess of healing and one of the children of Lunord and Helia. Her followers are the healers.
Andravus
A wizard credited with creation of Minotaurs which he intended for use as a private army. He was killed in battle after his army was weakened due to loss of control over the beasts.
Brojin the Conqueror
Ruler of a kingdom of the north. The quest The Siege features the final assault on his fortress.
Brashnard
Brashnard was a barbarian who became the first human magic user in Ardania. He was killed by the warlord Rogna Blood Axe who grew weary of Brashnard's magic and also destroyed Brashnard's Sphere of Power. According to "The History of Ardania" it took 2000 years before magic was practice again. In Majesty single player, one quest features a scenario in which the shards of the sphere must be found and reassembled.
Dauros
God of law and one of the children of Lunord and Helia. His followers are Monks and Paladins.
Dirgo the Cyclops
A Cyclops who lived on an island who arrived seeking revenge for a sailor who shot out his eye (an allusion to Odysseus and Polyphemus in Greek mythology). Dirgo appears on more than one occasion in the single player game.
Dragon King Andraxal-Kerlazor
The Dragon king was a dragon slain by Krolm when his dragons came into conflict with the barbarians. His tomb is featured in the quest Tomb of the Dragon King.
Fervus
God of chaos and one of the children of Lunord and Helia. His followers are Cultists and Warriors of Discord. Fervus' domain also extends to animals.
Garbash
Minotaur leaders who fought humans who intruded his territory. Grabas is featured in the short story "Axe of Garbash." He is killed by Sir Daran Swiftblade.
Glohrea Oathtaker
Renown and selfless paladin who was slain by the Abomination. She is the background story character in Vigil for a Fallen Hero.
Gorsha Blackhoof
Minotaur leader who stole the Crown of Sydrian. Quest for the Crown features the recovery of the crown guarded by waves of minotaurs.
Grum-Gog
The eldest son of Helia and Lunord and the god of the goblins.
Helia
Daughter of Krolm and the goddess of the sun whose followers are known as Solarii. She and her followers became rivals of her sister Lunord and his followers. After a period of exhausting conflict, Helia and Lunord held a truce and "sired seven children," including the four younger gods, Grum-Gog the Goblin god, Rrongol, and Url-Shekk.
Ixmil
A mad mage who constructed a magical fortress out of "magtcal folds." The Fortress is able to disappear and then release large numbers of monsters as it reappears.
Juleck the Prophet
Juleck is Prophets who speaks of future challenges for the Sovereign. He is featured in the short story "A Single Throne & Many Paths" and is referenced in the quest Tomb of the Dragon King.
Krolm
Krolm is the eldest god and father of Lunord and Helia. Krolm is the creator of the first humans known as "Barbarians," a term also used for current followers of Krolm who still follow their original nomadic lifestyle. Accodring to "Spirit of the Land," in the game manual, Krolm is also the creator of Ardania.
Krypta
Goddess of death and one of the children of Helia and Lunord. Her followers are priestesses. It is also implied that she created the Spires of Death in the Northern Expansion campaign.
Kyra Rundelsnark
Creator of the calendar system in which years are with the epoch term K.A. (Kingdom Age) K.A. 1 marked the creation of the system.
Liche Queen
A high priestess of Krypta who became the evil Liche Queen after malpractice of magic. According to "The History of Ardania" she became the first undead in Ardania after her perished during her magic ritual without honoring death.
Lunord
Son of Krolm and the god of the moon whose followers are known as Adepts. He and his followers became rivals of his sister Helia and her followers. Lunord is the creator of the Holy Chalice, an important artifact with healing powers that has switched hands many times.
Makkat
An Adept chosen by Lunord who was to bring word of the four new gods. Unfortunately, he had become a jabbering madman after being struck by a lightning bolt. When he brought news of the new gods, his words brought religious fragmentation among the humans and ultimately, the rise of the four new gods. Makkat was killed by Solarii after leading a long crusade to enforce the new religions.
Pyrog the Shadowed
Wizard credited with the creation of Evil Oculi. Pyrog died creating an even more vile creature. It was assumed that his last experiment was not successful but the arrival of the Abomination of mysterious origins has questioned that account.
Rhoden
King of the Ratmen featured in Rise of the Ratmen. Rhoden is able to wield magic and is also the inventor of the Ratapult.
Rezzenthel
Wizard who compiled the history of Ardania as presented in Prima's strategy guide. He is also referenced in the single player quests.
Rrongol the Hunter
Son of Lunord and Helia who was disdained by Lunord to be too dim-witted to become a god. Rrongol features in Quest for the Holy Chalice.
Scrylia the Serpent Queen
Scrylia was a commander of evil forces consisting of Dragons, Greater Gorgons, Medusae and Harpies. She was defeated and killed when her medusae minions rebelled.
Sydrian the Wandering King
One of the most significant figures in the history of Ardania, Sydrian was a warrior who led his warriors against the Witch King, then the greatest threat to the human city-states. He defeated the Witch King after recovering the Holy Chalice which granted his men renewed strength. Afterward, Sydrian retreated to a life of obscurity. His crown, created by the Dwarves and embued with magic, is referenced in Quest for the Crown. The current Paladin order is inspired by the Sydrian Knights.
Stones
General of Styx with whom he died in battle. Stones was resurrected as an undead by the Witch King.
Styx
Queen of the now exterminated Tundra Giants. She died in battle with her general Styx and the two were brought back as undead wights by the Witch King.
Theoneus
A wizard who compiled the history of Ardania along with Rezzenthel and Tarsival. He is featured in the story "Power for Price."
Tholar
A wizard who revived the learning of magic after the art disappeared with Brashnard two millennia ago. Tholor had two mentioned descendants: Tholor III who made a magical Bellanus Orb, and Tholar IV who died repelling a minotaur invasion of Andravus.
Url-Shekk
A three-headed beast and one of the children of Lunord and Helia. He guards the nether realms after having having been condemned there by Helia. Occasionally, he rises to the surface and claims humans for his slave pits.
Vendral
A two-headed dragon and the sole descendant of the Dragon King. In the quest Slay the Mighty Dragon, Vendral is slain using replications of a magic sword.
Witch King
The Witch King is a centuries-old "master of dark magic" and a "magical and purely evil creature." He is now based in the Dark forest where he commands giant spiders, featured in the quest The Dark Forest. In the Northern Expansion, the unit description for Stones tells that the Witch King had been killed.
