Quest Background: Miscreant elves have taken your son hostage. How will you respond to their treachery?Objective: Raise 50,000 gold or destroy all enemy heroes and buildings
In this fun quest, you'll be mainly fighting against enemy elves and rogues rather than the usual rats and trolls. The enemy have a lot of heroes that can cause problems. Fortunately, they all run at the sight of a guardhouse. So the first thing you want to do is place one or two guardhouses toward the unexplored areas on the map. Research arrows so the guardhouses have some firepower to chase away the elves and rogues. With the guardhouse built, construct a rangers guild and train four of them to get your palace to level two. Your rangers should eventually engage the enemy in ranged combat. They easily outclasses rogues in arrow fights and can take on elves provided access to healing potions and blacksmith upgrades.
Upon reaching level two, build a temple to dauros and a warriors guild. The key to beating the enemy is the fast-moving Paladin. Once you have a force of eight paladins and four rangers, it's only a matter of time before you clean up the enemy bases. Particular exciting is the sight of enemy elves and rogues falling against a single sword hit! Be sure to provide your heroes with healing potions, weapons and armor upgrades, and even an upgraded rogues guild for your rangers to poison their arrows.
Alternative, if you prefer to win by obtaining 50,000 gold, you can do so by building a few marketplaces guarded by upgraded guardhouses. Of course, it's probably more exciting to win by force.
