Contrary to "Deal with the Daemon," this scenario is all explore and destroy while you won't have to worry much about your gold pile. A host of goblin hovels and settlements are scattered around the map. These structures, of course, generate goblins to attack you. In your favor is an allied wizards guild which will not only provide supporting firepower but also gold to your kingdom.
Goblins are right there at your gate in the beginning, but your two Warriors of Discord should make quick work of them. Since gold is plentiful, train two additional warriors for extra defense. You also have a rangers guild away from your base, so start training rangers. At times, the rangers guild may come into attack, in which case, you can try moving the camp to a safer location. Generally, though, as long as you have a full house of rangers, the guild should be fine. Next on the list is to construct a marketplace and research healing potions.
The choice of temples is largely yours. The ideal choice, however, is probably barbarians, whose low cost, high responsiveness to reward flags, and Rage of Krolm make them excellent choice against weaker enemies. Build a temple to Krolm and recruit four barbarians. Then, construct an elven bungalow and add another temple to Krolm. If you prefer, build a rogues guild to be upgraded to level 2. Now, your force consisting of about 14 heroes should easily overcome the goblins. Since gold should be plentiful, you should have ample opportunity to take advantage of Rage of Krolm to expedite your victory.
