Quest Background: The Liche Queen has been angered by your "interference" of her plans. She warns that she will remove your presence from her realm.Objective: Destroy the Liche Queen
Using your temples to Agrela, train healers to advance your palace to the next level. Meanwhile, build a warriors guild, and later a temple to Dauros upon reaching the next level. There will be a free warriors guild to be discovered near your base, so having one already built will save you a few hundred gold. Paladin and monks are, of course, the choice of heroes on the map. The immediate goal is to raise two guild-full contingents of Paladins.
Certain buildings such as a rogues guild and blacksmith are not avilable for you to build, but they can be found on the map. However, they will be found at locations that are vulerable to attack, so you may want to hold back a bit until you are strong enough to defend the buildings that you discover.
Farther from the blacksmith group of buildings, there will be a Dwarven settlement for you to discover, along with two ballista towers. The Dwarven settlement is important because not only does it provide you with an excellent locaiton to construct a trading post, Dwarves are very proficient heroes on this map due to their high magic resistance against vampires that frequent this area.
The monsters on this map are of average strength, with the vampire as the most prominent foe. While the vampires might stop your rangers from exploring, Your two guilds of Paladins, Monks, and later, Dwarves, should be able to defeat Vampires quite easily. If you maintain a formdiable force of heroes as described above, you should be able to take on the Liche Queen quite easily, once you have destroyed her lair. Keep the heal and resurrenction spells handy and there should not be any problem.
