Heroes exploring the Southern Hellfire Mountains will run into giants in caves and in the mountains.

Ogre[edit]

A select few Giants are bright enough to learn magic, making them very dangerous!

XPs: unknown Gold: unknown Armor: 12 HP: 400

Attack Type: Spellcaster. Uses Defensive and Offensive Spells.
Spells:
FlameShield, FireShield, FireBall, FireBlast, Fire Strike, Smoke Screen
Abilities:
Resist Critical Hit
His Dodge is ~90 and MGR ~70.
Having ~110 MGR seems enough to resist his damaging spells, but not the debuffing from the Smoke screen, which affects a hero even with 308 MGR.

Storm Giant[edit]

StormGiant.jpg
These Giants are the strongest and smartest of their kind. Heroes should avoid them at all costs.

XPs: unknown Gold: unknown Armor: 14 HP: 400
Locations: Grov-Urtat
Attack Type: Spellcaster. Uses Defensive and Offensive spells.
Spells:
Invisibility (67), Anti-Magic Field, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Storm, Wind Storm, Electric Frenzy
Abilities:
Immunity to Poison, Resist Critical Hit
A hero needs 202 MGR to resist his spells (especially the Frenzy). His Dodge is rather low (<80), while his basic MGR is ~90. But the Anti-Magic Field, especially when there's >1 of these monsters in a battle, boosts the magic resistance of all the horde dramatically.
