Heroes of Ardania

The game for which this Wiki exists. Heroes of Ardania is a roleplaying game based in the fictional land of Ardania, where you select a hero class from the game Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, and play the role of that hero; as opposed to Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, wherein the player has little if any control over the heroes of their kingdom. You can explore, adventure, work, fight or quest to your heart's content. Heroes of Ardania follows a turn-based system; one turn is generated per hour for each hero in Ardania.

HoA Developer Forums

These were made as a replacement for the Cyberlore forums when they closed. Now it is mainly used by developers to discuss things that the general public shouldn't see; however, there is also a public section that anyone can visit and post in. There is a good amount of activity on the Developer Forums, including forum-based RP.

Majesty Website

Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim is the inspiration and basis for Heroes of Ardania. It is a PC game that places you in the role of a sovereign ruling over a kingdom. The player must accomplish tasks by improving his kingdom and recruiting heroes to defend it. However, these heroes which the monarch relies on are fully autonomous. Majesty brooded one expansion pack, "Majesty: The Northern Expansion". Unfortunately a further sequel was canceled, but Paradox Interactive has picked up the rights from Cyberlore and is currently working on Majesty 2, slated for release Q1 2009.
