Lesser Undead

Lesser Undead is the less powerful category of the "undead" monsters. Almost all lesser undead are plain melee opponents. The standout of this category is the vampire, whose life drain spell poses a significant threat to heroes with low weapon damage and low magic resistance. Certain lesser undead can be charmed by priestesses and henceforth have an extended list of known stats.

Notable Locations:

Graveyard: Zombie, Skeleton, Skeletal Warrior, Skeletal Knight, Vampire
Valley of Gur-Mechina: Shadow Beast, all of the above

Zombies and Plague Bearers can be found at scattered locations

Skeleton Champions and Overlords make rare appearances in HFM East

Skeleton[edit]

These animated bones are raised through necromantic spells of dark origin.

Skeletal Warrior[edit]

Even long-dead warriors are not spared by the ether winds of Ardania, sometimes they are made to rise again to battle forever against the living.

The Skeletal Champion retains much of its former battle prowess, which separates it from unthinking skeletal undead. Needs balancing.

Made from the bones of ancient generals, the Skeleton Overlord directs troops masterfully, and is an absolutely deadly foe.

Created at the birth of Krypta, Vampires are the most feared of the common undead due to their life-draining ability.
