Veneficus, do you or anyone else have any guidelines on a consistent syntax of links? For items, for example: [Mystic Mace] or [Mystic Mace (Item)] or [Mystic Mace (item)] or... --Xalaz 08:34, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

Nope not really. The Mystic Mace (item) was something done by others. Between [Mystic Mace (Item)] and [Mystic Mace (item)], I think the lowercase item is probably more appropriate (as done in the actual wiki). It's not a big deal, however, as long as the link works. --Veneficus 09:07, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

As you probably saw from the recent changes, I have been playing around with the 'Wanted Pages' page to eliminate false/erroneous links. That's where I saw the different methods of naming items and quests. I'll just make the links uniform then. Any thoughts on the redirect pages? Are they something to avoid - see for example the HFM and Hellfire Mountains redirects --Xalaz 09:27, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

What's wrong with the links to external sites? I mean the links like: [1]. When I click one, I just end up on the same page or on an edit of the page. Nowhere near the intended target anyway. It happens in firefox and Internet Explorer. -Xalaz 01:59, 14 January 2008 (EST)

They have been disabled (bar a few) to render the spam-links useless. (see ingame HoA forumtopic about the wiki)
